...They are very rare...
...But not that magnificent...

fact:
These long feathers actually grow from the bird's back not the tail. He elevates them by raising the much shorter tail feathers underneath them.
I wonder what the "much shorter feathers" look like...

We have feelings too you know...
and don't kick my (sisters) chihuahua... if you do he will put his tail between his legs and curl up in a ball and yelp... It will be so cute that you will feel so sorry for him. and when you reach out to pet him... he BITES!
